Envisu SD-OCT

Formerly Bioptigen & Leica

The Envisu Product Line

The Envisu product line includes a range of systems, each with a different spectrometer and hand held probe configuration. Each system has specific applications that designed to tackle specific imaging goals, but all systems are extensible and cover OCT imaging for all animal species.

Gen3 Envisu

The Envisu R2200 is the Gen3 Handheld OCT system, with a more lightweight probe.

The R2200 generates high resolution OCT images that can be taken with the scan head mounted or handheld for easy orientation and alignment.

Originally designed for neonatal imaging, the handheld probe is easy to hold and maneuver in challenging imaging scenarios.

Lighter and Cheaper

The Gen3 handheld probe head is compatible with three Telecentric lenses, each with a different Numerical Aperture for a range of depth-of-focus and lateral resolution of the rodent anterior chamber, cornea, and schlemm’s canal.

The 12TELE is best for anterior imaging in mice and for tissue explants.

Use the Mouse Retina Bore to image small eyes from zebrafish to mice.

Use the Rabbit and General Retina Bores for larger eyes from rabbit to canine.
